For most practices, Google search ads are the best driver of new patient appointments. Google Ads (also called Pay per Click ads or Google Adwords) allow you to show an ad to potential patients who are actively searching for care when they do a Google search for a list of keywords related to your practice.
There are some huge advantages to using Google ads to promote your practice:
1. They work quickly. We can set up a new landing page and ad campaign in as little as a week. Once we turn your ads on, they can start appearing at the top of search results the next day!
2. You can be very specific. WIth Google ads, you have complete control over which search terms cause your ads to appear. Google also allows some control over the audience who can see your ads, and we can target individuals based on age, gender, geography and even household income (which can indirectly target patients with better insurance plans, like PPOs or even self-pay patients).
3. They can be turned on (or off) any time. Some of our clients actually control their ad campaigns based on their office schedule. Fully booked next week? We can pause your ads until the end of the week so you’re not showing ads to patients that you don't’ have availability to see. This works the opposite way, too - turn your ads on or increase your budget in the days before you have holes in your schedule and we can work to keep your staff busy and efficient.
